To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

When you sign up as a dealer, you receive a 10-day free trial period. During this trial, your business listing will be active and visible to customers, all clicks are tracked for your reference but are never billed, you can cancel at any time with no charges, and you have full access to all dealer dashboard features.

After your trial ends, billing begins automatically unless you cancel your account before the trial period expires.

We use a performance-based cost-per-click (CPC) pricing model. You are only charged when customers actively engage with your listing by clicking the Call Now button, Visit Website button, or Top Spot listing if you are bidding for Top Spot placement.

Regular clicks and Top Spot clicks are billed at rates determined by us and may vary. All rates may be adjusted with 30 days notice. Your current rates are always visible in your dealer dashboard.

You are never charged for customers simply viewing your listing, comparing prices, or browsing the site. You only pay when they take action to contact you.

To protect you from fraudulent or duplicate clicks, we use advanced fingerprinting technology and configurable deduplication rules. We track unique users through browser fingerprinting, IP addresses, and device identifiers, prevent charging multiple times for the same customer within a configurable timeframe, limit billable clicks from the same user, and flag suspicious patterns.

These protections are applied automatically. You can view your click activity and deduplication statistics in your dealer dashboard.

Billing is processed monthly on the anniversary of your signup date. We automatically charge your payment method on file for all billable clicks from the previous month. You can view your current month estimated charges and billing history in your dealer dashboard.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards, and your payment information is encrypted and stored by Stripe. Charges appear as "RIOilPrices" on your card statement.

If a payment fails, we will notify you with instructions to update your payment method and may attempt to process the payment again. If payment fails after retry attempts, your account may be suspended and your listing hidden from customers until payment is resolved.

You have 30 days from the billing date to dispute any charges. To dispute a charge, contact us with your dealer account email, business name, billing period, specific clicks you believe were charged incorrectly, and a detailed explanation.

If we determine that you were incorrectly charged due to our error, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. We do not issue refunds for clicks that do not result in a sale, customers who choose a competitor, seasonal click fluctuations, or changes in your business circumstances.

You may cancel your dealer account at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately upon request. You will be charged for all billable clicks incurred up to cancellation, but no new clicks will be billable after cancellation.

We reserve the right to modify CPC rates at any time. We will provide at least 30 days advance notice of rate increases via email. If you do not agree with new rates, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

As a dealer, you agree to provide and maintain accurate business information, keep your heating oil prices current and accurate, make good-faith efforts to honor displayed prices, respond professionally to customer inquiries, maintain customer service standards, comply with applicable laws, and maintain a valid payment method on file.

RI Oil Prices is a marketplace platform. We are not a party to transactions between you and customers, responsible for customer satisfaction, liable for damages from customer interactions, guaranteeing specific click volume or sales, or responsible for the quality or conversion rate of clicks.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RI Oil Prices from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the dealer platform, customer interactions, heating oil products or services, disputes with customers, violation of these Terms, inaccurate information, or failure to honor prices or commitments.

We use industry-standard tracking technology to record clicks. No tracking system is perfect, and browser settings, ad blockers, privacy tools, network issues, or server downtime may affect tracking accuracy. Our click tracking data serves as the final and authoritative record for billing purposes unless you demonstrate a clear system error during the dispute period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your dealer account if you violate these Terms, your payment method fails repeatedly, you engage in fraudulent activity or click manipulation, provide false or misleading information, receive excessive complaints, fail to meet customer service standards, fail to update pricing, fail to maintain required licenses or insurance, or we determine your use harms the platform or other users.

We provide analytics and data about listing performance for your convenience. This data is provided as is, and we make no warranties about its accuracy, completeness, or reliability.
